Making a Show at Drives & Controls 2016

Drives & Controls, being our first trade show for 2016, was a great opportunity to meet experienced engineers and other like-minded professionals to discuss innovative products, projects and solutions. We were delighted to welcome customers old and new to our booth.

Drives & Control Show Highlights

Ash Chury, our UK & EU Sales Manager, had the opportunity to present a video showcasing the products we had on Stand including an AKD demo kit shipped over from Kollmorgen which took centre stage along with our EtherCAT Hexapod which travelled widely throughout Europe with us last year.

In addition to these demo kits we also had a diverse range of motion control products on display including:

• Servotecnica Slip Rings
• Zettlex Non-Contact IncOders
• Thomson Gearheads
• Spinea Zero Backlash Gears and Actuators

Our broad portfolio ofproducts ensured that customer’s motion control requirements were fully covered in one place.  Asthe leading a UK based world class motion systems integrator we were able to discuss both standard and bespoke specifications on Stand whilst working with customers to develop motion solutions for a variety of diverse applications.

Our team were also joined on Stand at Drives & Controls by Stewart Dowsett, Business Development Manager (UK, Ireland and Scandinavia) for Kollmorgen and Darren Perry, Territory Manager for Thomson Linear. This further strengthened our partner relationships and provided additional expert knowledge and advice for visitors interested in Kollmorgen and Thomson products.

Show Background           

This biennial event was co-located with 6 other Industrial exhibitions which made it the largest Manufacturing and Industrial Event in the UK for 2016.  The exhibition has grown over the last decade and in 2014 it had over 13,000 visitors.  This year saw the launch of a live Robotic Demonstration Area which reflected the dynamic and fast growing Robotic sector representing Robotic technology across the industry.

So, when is Drives & Controls running next?

Drives & Controlis set to run from the 10th to the 12th of April 2018.  Make sure you put the dates in your diary to see the Heason Technology team in action at this leading UK trade Exhibition.

In the meantime you can visit us on Stand D50 at the Engineering Design Show in Coventry in October this year.
