Harsh Environment Slip Rings have a stainless steel or aluminium housing and IP65 cable glands on the slip ring inlet and outlet. They are particularly suited to harsh environments where environmental conditions require sturdy objects and suitable materials. A prime example of this is for use within the food and beverage industry.

The SVTS D Series is an example of a Harsh Environment Slip Ring. The use of fibre brush and gold-gold technology in the D Series ensures a long life and high-quality signal transmission.
