Gold Hornet servo drives are advanced, high power density servo drives with fully featured motion controller and local intelligence. They provide top servo performance, advanced networking and built-in safety, all in a small PCB mountable package that weighs 55g (1.94oz) and offer up to 1600W of continuous power. They have been designed to operate under extreme environmental conditions. The Gold Hornet drives operate from a DC power source in current, velocity, position and advanced position modes in conjunction with any type of servo motor. They are designed for use with any type of sinusoidal and trapezoidal commutation with vector control and can operate as a standalone device or as part of a multi-axis system in a distributed configuration in a real-time network. Features include: Gold Line core motion control technology Ultra-compact, highest power density Highly efficient, high-bandwidth performance Communication options: CAN or RS232 (Optional RS422) Supports a wide variety of feedback sensors Designed to meet the toughest environmental conditions Advanced filtering and gain-scheduling options for enhanced dynamic performance Vector control sinusoidal commutation Meets the most severe environmental, EMC and safety standards Gold Hornet Servo Drive Datasheet
