MegaFlux Torque Motor

Allied Motion's Megaflux family of high performance frameless direct drive brushless torque motors includes 12 frame diameters ranging from 60 through 792 mm (2.4 though 31.2 inches), with multiple stack lengths for each diameter. Continuous stall torque ranges up to 2020 Nm (1490 lb-ft). Megaflux frameless torque motors offer a clear ID aperture of up to 582 mm (22.9 in).

Frameless Megaflux series of high performance frameless brushless torque motors are computer designed and optimised to provide the highest torque density brushless torque motors available. Special attention has been given to the minimisation of their cogging torque to enhance their performance in precision applications.

Frameless Megaflux motors are thin annular rings with large diameter-to-length ratios, allowing integration directly onto the driven shaft. Direct connection effectively eliminates problems of torsional resonances due to couplings and the backlash associated with gear driven systems.
