Electrak® 5 AC Linear Actuators have been specially designed for intermittent duty applications. Featuring an anti-coast brake for repeatable positioning, the Electrak 5 also has a highly efficient ball bearing screw drive system, coupled through a gear train to a heavy duty AC motor which has a thermal switch. The construction of this actuator is strong, robust and very reliable. Other design features include a stainless steel extension tube and slip clutch to protect the maintenance-free unit from overloading.
