Windy500 - Dilemma time

Now Spooky has to go for the first option as he is collecting family but I, like many other teams, want to try the second! Yes missing out on two of the best roads for something else?  Trouble is do you know you have done the right thing?

I have planned a route, spoken to the other 7 teams who are up for it and we think we will go for it.  My worry is what will I miss out on,  the first option also included the solstice festival where they burn a massive effigy. Oh the dilemma

The camp site we are on is lovely and just across the fjord is a bigger town fed via a bridge.  It is exactly (even down to the position of the bridge) like being in the Kyle of Lochalsh in Scotland looking over to the bright lights of Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye.

So just like I have done in Scotland previously we walked over to eat and drink.  It was a long walk but we found a nice pizza place.

I will keep you posted on the alternative destination.
