Why we are open during the COVID-19 Pandemic

At this difficult time, many non-essential businesses are being ordered to shut down to reduce the spread of COVID-19. At Variohm Holdings, we are staying open. Our production and warehouse facilities remain operational to supply the part(s) required for our customers with a focus on particular industries which are crucial at this time.

As a group, Variohm Holdings Ltd manufacture and supply products used to support customers and manufacturers in various industries. During the current climate we find ourselves in, our customers working in various industries are essential to supporting and tackling the virus and keeping people all over the world safe in various ways.

Our key industries we need to support at this time are:

• Medical and Pharmaceutical
• Research and Development
• Laboratory and Testing
• Maintenance
• Power Plants
• HVAC
• Food and Beverage
• Many other essential industries

Within the medical and pharmaceutical industry in particular our products are heavily required. We supply products to customers who manufacturer ventilators which are in high demand as well as various sensors used for patient monitoring. Footswitches and hand controls are used for medical bed and chair adjustments are also supplied by us as well as footswitches for various medical applications.

Because of the vital businesses we support, our production and distribution operations are essential to our customers and therefore to the worldwide response to this pandemic. For this reason, it is our duty to remain open and operational at this time.

We are committed to keeping our employees safe and are following our government guidelines and advice given by WHO. Whilst as many of our work force as possible are working from home, there remains a small but vital team in our work places ensuring we are able to manufacture and supply our essential products to our customers.  The teams onsite are following the stringent guidelines given by the government. We want to thank our suppliers for also remaining open at this uncertain time for continuing to support our requirements so we are able to continue to manufacture and supply. We, of course, also want to say thank you to our teams in our offices who are continuing to travel to work during the pandemic to ensure our goods can get to our customers.
