Heason Makes The Move To Digital Prototyping
Date: 31 May 2007

Latest AutoDesk Inventor 2008 Arrives at Heason Technologies
Heason Technologies, the precision motion control equipment
supplier, is to take its first steps in 3D digital prototyping with
the help of Autodesk solutions and training provider, Micro
Concepts. The decision to implement Autodesk Inventor
resulted from a competitive two-month trial of Inventor and other
products.
"Inventor will allow us to create virtual prototypes so we can save
on production costs and reduce time to market," says Heason
Technologies technical director Jon Howard. "Micro Concepts
was the only supplier to offer us such a high level of support both
pre-sale as well as after the implementation."
"Heason products are used in industries including aerospace and
defence, semi-conductor and fibre-optic manufacturing equipment and
simulation and robotics, fast-paced and highly competitive sectors
which cannot afford to wait for the latest products," says Mark
Lavery of Micro Concepts. "We are excited to be helping
Heason react to these conditions by reducing the time spent getting
products to market through the effective deployment of digital
prototyping."
