AST is located on the East Coast of the USA and is involved in the specification and supply of a specialist range of brushed and brushless motors
The flat motors from this company use an ironless armature that allows the motors to accelerate from 0 to 3000rpm in a 45 deg turn of the motor shaft. These motors are ideally suited to be used with the flat high ratio reduction gear systems also available from Heason Technologies.
These low inertia DC brushed servo motors are offered with built in tachos and can also be fitted with brakes. Built in 4 sizes they are the ideal selection for rotary turntable designs where envelope size and high speed positioning systems are required.
