New Post - Engineering Manager

To support Heason Technology continued and dramatic growth we now seek to engage a professional engineering manager for this new role in the business. 

You're likely to hold an engineering degree level qualification together with experience is the design, manufacture, assembly, and/or commissioning of complex motion centric automated equipment.  This "hands-on" role represents a significant and exciting challenge joining a highly successful team of dedicated motion professionals   

Responsibilities ..

Be responsible for all engineering and customer support functions within the business

. Manage, lead, develop and co-ordinate multi-disciplined engineering team

. Pre-sales concept engineering and development of solution proposals

. Provide first class engineering support to sales team, engineering team and customers

. Develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers alike

. Active participation in strategic development of company


Skills ..

Your skill set is likely to include a majority of the following .

. Sound mechatronics knowledge possibly with mechanical engineering bias

. Appreciation of programmable motion modules including PLCs, motion controllers and drives

. Good working knowledge of Solidworks 2012

. Well-developed understanding of mechatronic component selection from a motion perspective including bearings, ball-screws, gear systems, servo/stepper motors, drives and controllers

. FEA - Mechanical/Thermal

. Familiarity with legislative standards such as CE, LVD and machinery directive
