We include recent past events here for your interest. Most
of these events are reoccuring, some annual and others at different
timings.
Heason Technology is always pleased to organise bespoke
in-house exibitions and seminars at your place of work. If
you have a number of people at your site involved in motion
control, why not ask us to setup a mini exhibition at your premises
rather than you having to travel to us.

MTec Exhibition - 13th - 14th February 2008
Heason experienced a very successful exhibition at the recent
MTec show at the NEC, Birmingham.
Heason exhibited alongside the other members of the Variohm

UKAEA Exhibition - 17th January 2008
Heason Technology recently exhibited at the UKAEA site in
Culham. Every couple of months UKAEA run in-house exhibitions for
their staff. This gives many companies such as Heason an
opportunity to exhibit their range of products and services
that they offer.
Culham is at the heart of international efforts to develop fusion
as a sustainable source of energy. The site also houses a hi-tech
business centre where companies are exploiting technology transfer
from fusion research.

Machine Building Exhibition - 13th & 14th February 2007

Heason Technologies were pleased to exhibit at this years
Machine Building exhibition.
Machine Building, Drives and Automation, incorporating
PneuMotion, was the definitive event addressing all aspects of
automation and design within the machine building, drives and
compressed air industries.
Heason Technologies exhibited our new range of actuators using
high ratio reduction Spinea gear sets close coupled to many
different servomotors. Also displayed were the precision
tables that incorporated the Nanomotion ceramic motors used in both
normal and UHV applications.

CCLRC Exhibition - 30th October 2006

Heason Technologies were delighted to have the chance of
exhibiting at this years CCLRC exhibition, which was held at the
CCLRC premises in Oxford.
The exhibition was open to CCLRC only. It gave CCLRC employees an
insight to some of Heason's capabilities.
Heason exhibited a wide range of Motion Control products to the
employees of CCLRC.
Heason have a lot of experience working with CCLRC on various
Motion Control applications.

BNES/BNFL, Risley - 27th September 2006

Heason Technologies exhibited at this years BNES/BNFL exhibition at Risley, Cheshire.
The BNFL 'Hilton House' complex was an ideal venue for attracting Designers, Project Engineers, Technologists and Procurement staff to whom the Technology exhibition was mainly targeted.
BNFL has had a major administrative base at Hinton House, Risley since 1971, when the company was formed following a reorganisation of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA).
The location for almost 2,000 people, the majority of these are employed on engineering related activities for British Nuclear Group with other providing functional support. Project Services, Spent Fuel Services and Nexia Solutions Ltd are also based in Hinton House.

UKAEA, Culham - 29th June 2006
This was the second UKAEA exhibition that Heason Technologies exhibited at this year.
Culham Science Centre is one of the UK's most prestigious research centres and is home the the UK's national fusion research programme and host to the European "flagship" fusion experimental facility JET (Joint European Torus).
UKAEA's own fusion facility is the MAST (Mega Amp Spherical Tokamak) which has been in operation since 1999 and follows an earlier experiment to further explore the spherical tokamak approach as a means of investigating the potenial for fusion power.

EPAC 06, Edinburgh - 26th-28th June
This year Heason Technologies exhibited at the EPAC 06 exhibition (European Particle Accelerator Conference), which was held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
EPAC is the main European conference for those engaged in accelerator science. Held biennially, the Edinburgh event was the tenth in a series that has included previous venues in Rome, Nice, Berlin, London, Sitges, Stockholm, Vienna, Paris and in July 2004, Lucerne. The scientific programme consisted of invited talks, specially selected oral contributions, poster presentations and a major industrial exhibition. Studentships were available and two prestigious accelerator prizes were awarded. There was also a full social programme.

AWE Exhibition - 4th May 2006

Heason Technologies was pleased to exhibit at the AWE Exhibition in Aldermaston.
The Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) at Aldermaston has been central to the defence of the United Kingdom since 1950, providing and maintaining the warheads for the country's nuclear deterrent.
AWE covers the whole 'life cycle' of nuclear warheads including the initial concept and design, through component manufacture and assembly, to in-service support and finally, decommissioning and disposal.

UKAEA Exhibition - 18th May 2006
Heason Technologies exhibited at this years UKAEA exhibition in Harwell and Chilton.
UKAEA was recently chosen for development as a key national centre for Science & Technology, the UKAEA Harwell site, along with its neighbours at Chilton, will form a joint venture campus to promote a world-class centre for science, technology and innovation.
Harwell is also the headquarters of UKAEA. The partially decommissioned reactors of DIDO and PLUTO, GLEEP and BEPO are all based at Harwell, along with radiochemical laboratories and waste stores. In addition, Harwell is also home to many science and technology-based companies including the Medical Research Council and Nirex.
Chilton based organisations include the Health Protection Agency (HPA) and the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory which now includes Diamond Light Source Ltd, an exciting project to construct a complex of support laboratories and offices around the perimeter of a hugh circular dome, which will house a synchrotron light source for scientific purposes.

Advanced Motion Control Seminar - 26th April 2006
Heason Technologies teamed up with Delta Tau UK & US for this one day seminar held at Ghyll Manor Hotel.
The seminar gave an insight to the very latest in motion control.
Dimitri Dimitri, President and CEO of Delta Tau US was the keynote speaker on the day. Dimitri gave the audience a thorough insight into the future development trends for advanced motion control.
Heason Technologies ran a short presentation about the company, presented by Kenny Green.

A Lucky Winner of an iPod from our Delta Tau Seminar!
Assaff Rawner (right) was the proud new owner of an iPod Nano after winning the prize draw at the Heason had organised. The iPod was presented to Assaff by Dimitri Dimitri (left).
Assaff and his colleagues are working at the cutting edge in camera platforms for the film industry where precision sevro control is fundentual to their requirements.
Portsmouth Exhibition - 20th April 2006

Heason Technologies exhibited at the Institute of Industrial Research at Portsmouth University.
The event that launched the new Institute and took place on 20th April.
A new Institute of Industrial Research (IIR) has been
established by the University of Portsmouth to develop solutions to
help businesses in the region become more competitive ...
The University has long been involved in research programmes but
the IIR aims to enable businesses to develop solutions to specific
problems.
The IIR is offering businesses -
- Free consultation - the IIR will visit organisations for an initial analysis of their business needs and a discussion of possible solutions.
- Research - existing knowledge and expertise available in the University or from specifically commissioned research projects.
- Dedicated office space for business partners and start-ups - new businesses are offered attractive office space working alongside the IIR's researchers and developers.
- Practical application - specific business or industry problems addresses and joint research undertaken.

David Brown's an iPod Winner from our Portmouth Exhibition!
Heason Technologies ran a competion to win the latest iPod Nano. Dr. David Brown, a Director of the University, was the lucky winner of the iPod.
The iPod was presented to David Brown at the Advanced Motion Control Seminar the following week.
