Spinea 'B' Series Bearing Reducer
Spinea TwinSpin 'B' Series
Spinea "B" Series Zero Backlash High Reduction
Ratio Bearing Reducer especially designed for B
Axis of machine tools. Single Size 240mm O/D, Ratios
from 87:1 to 153:1, Repeated Peak Torques to 4,050Nm
The Twinspin bearing reducers are high precision reducers based on
a new reduction mechanism and a new design of radial-axial output
bearing. As a result, they represent a new generation of
power transmission systems. The notion "bearing
reducers" indicates the full integration of a high precision
trochoidal reduction gear and a radial-axial bearing in a single
unit.
The TS bearing reducers are design for applications requiring
...
- High Reduction Ratio
- Zero Backlash
- High Kinematic Accuracy
- Low Lost Motion
- High Moment Capacity
- High Stiffness
... and a compact design with a limited installation zone and low mass
Spinea TwinSpin 'B' Series Range
One Frame Size
240mm O/D
Three Different Ratios

Two Input Versions
Smooth Shaft and Special Custom Shafts
Principle of Operation - Step One - Input Shaft @ 0 Degrees
The basic components of the TS bearing reducer are shown below
...
CASE
... at the same time incorporates the high capacity precision
radial-axial output bearings integrated in the reducer
SEALING
... on the output flange side prevents the reducer from intenal
comtamination and/or bearing lubricant leakage from the reducer
Principle of Operation - Step Two - Input Shaft @ 90 Degrees
FLANGES
... input and output flanges are fixed together by fixing bolts and rotate at reduced speed in the radial-axial output bearing relative to the case
Principle of Operation - Step Three - Input Shaft @ 180 Degrees
INPUT SHAFT
... high speed member of the reduction mechanism carried by roller bearings in the flanges. Bearing raceways are ground directly on the shaft and the flanges. The shaft eccentrics rotationally support the trochoidal gears via roller bearings
Principle of Operation - Step Four - Input Shaft @ 270 Degrees
TROCHOIDAL GEARS
... their almost 50% simultaneously meshing trochoidal teeth transmit a very high torque which ensures powerful and backlash free performance of the reducer
Principle of Operation - Step Five - Input Shaft @ 360 Degrees
TRANSFORMATION MEMBER
... transforms the planetary motion of the trochoidal gears to the
rotary motion of a pair of flanges
