Kollmorgen AKM - Advanced Kollmorgen Motor
Kollmorgen AKM brushless servomotors provide unprecedented choice and flexibility with a wide range of standard products allowing the engineer to select the best servomotor optimized for their specifications.
With 26,000 standard models available, AKM high performance servomotors offer a wide range of mounting, connectivity, speed, feedback and other options. AKM motors deliver smooth performance with high torque/density and acceleration in 25 frame/stack combinations.
Available in a variety of windings designed for standard global voltages, AKM motors are optimized for use with Kollmorgen S200, S300 & S600 high performance servo drives.
- 0.16 to 53 N-m (1.4 to 470 lb-in) continuous torque accommodates a wide range of application requirements.
- Speeds to 8,000 RPM meet high speed application requirements.
- Operation from 53 to 480 VAC (75 to 680 VDC bus rated) provides full range of global voltage capability.
- Choice of resolver, commutating encoder, or smart feedback device (SFD) to meet broad drive and system requirements.
- Compact (high torque/volume ratio) for maximum torque in minimum space.
- Multiple frame sizes for the same torque value optimizes mounting and inertia matching capabilities.
